Cub Scouts Visit 5-11

On May, 24 2011  Cub Scout pack 290  from Lawndale visited our club. After a brief orientation period and introduction to our railroad each scout was provided a train, a throttle and a LAMRS advisor. They were instructed how to run their train in a prototypically manner. It was an educational and fun experience for all and the time seemed to go by too fast. The experience showed them how a model railroad works and how it can relate the real world. It was an enlightening and fun experience for the scouts that was enjoyed by all including the LAMRS members.
